Study on fingerprint of Banxiaxiexin decoction
OBJECTIVE To establish the HPLC fingerprint of Banxiaxiexin decoction.METHODS The separation was developed on ZORBAX Extend-C18 (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) by gradient elution with acetonitrile and 0.05% triethylamine water solution (pH 2.1) as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm and column temperature at 30℃. The injection volume was 10 μL.RESULTS The chromatographic methods met the demands of qualitative research. Forty-five common peaks from the HPLC fingerprint of Banxiaxiexin decoction were pointed out and ten of them were identified. HPLC fingerprints of ten batches of Banxiaxiexin decoction were analyzed and evaluated by Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2012 version), and results proved that the similarity degrees were all greater than 0.92.CONCLUSION The established HPLC fingerprint is accurate, stable and reproducible, which can reflect the overall characteristics of Banxiaxiexin decoction and improve the specificity for quality standard of the Chinese herbal formula.
